Despite the different nature of short-term mobility for the purpose of a study, these learning periods spent in another learning and living environment lead to many benefits for the individuals; they widen horizons, broaden perspectives, increase skills and contribute to personal and professional growth of students embarking on a life-changing journey.
The biggest possibility of coming to Slovenia for a short-term learning mobility lays in the Erasmus+ programme, largest European programme in the field of education and training. The programme gives an opportunity to international students to study in Slovenia for a period of 3 to 12 months that is also financially supported. Student mobility (and also staff mobility) is supported within and also outside of European Union.
Another option is a short-term mobility based on bilateral agreements that Slovenia has signed with many countries with the aim to support student exchange for a period of up to 10 months.
For more information about the exchange programmes please have a look at the Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes (CMEPIUS) web page and contact email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
