The School for International Education (SIE) at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice offers a range of Italian language and culture programmes designed for students from all over the world.
The programmes include:
• Italian Language Pathway – an intensive semester-long online programme that takes students from beginner level A1 to intermediate level B2, facilitating entry into degree programmes in Italian universities, including preferential access to Ca’ Foscari University.
• Seasonal Schools (Winter, Spring, Summer) – intensive programmes that combine language learning with an in-depth experience of Italian culture. The Winter and Summer Schools offer full linguistic and cultural immersion, while the Spring School focuses on Italian for academic purposes.
• Online Summer Course – a flexible distance-learning option designed to improve language skills from beginner to intermediate level (A1–B2), suitable for both prospective university students and anyone passionate about the Italian language.
The programmes go beyond grammar instruction and also include academic communication, cultural workshops, and preparation for study in Italy, ensuring high-quality standards certified by the university.
